Abstract :
The paper introduces the technology of the direct digital frequency synthesis and the structure and functions and features of AD9954 in detail. A SCM, AT89c51, controls the read-in of program words of AD9954 and the SCM is connected to PC by the communication interface RS-232. Accordingly we can get a high precision and low power communication signal source. And the signal working process is controlled by PC. It is commendably applied to the portable responder of the high frequency ground wave radar.
