  • Abstract
    Efficient design methods of hunting-free framing codes are investigated as extensions of previous results based on multipled block codes (MBCs). First, the principles of MBC based codes are overviewed to show their capacities for realizing hunting-free reframing. Systematic design methods are also shown. Then a sliding header method is investigated to considerably simplify the design of hunting-free framers. Finally, the above design methods are applied to generalized version of hunting-free codes to show their efficiencies
