Abstract
In this paper, we emphasize the necessity of using crest factor (CF) reduction methods in the combination with inter-carrier interference self-cancellation techniques (ICI SCT) that employ correlation coding in the frequency domain. We present a technique that jointly mitigates nonlinear and frequency offset effects in OFDM-based communication systems. We suggest to modify ICI SCT by separate processing each component of the coded signal at the transmitter. Such a modification actually doesn´t affect ICI cancellation ability of the ICI SCT while cancels the effects of crest factor (CF) enhancement observed after application of ICI SCT.
