Abstract
The authors\´ company has been making its best efforts for improving power quality and, particularly reducing the frequency and the duration of interruption by various means for several decades. For example, we upgraded voltage from 3 kV to 6 kV, wire insulation, and distribution automation system. at first, we introduced "time-sequential auto-reclosing system" into our distribution system. Due to this system, we could achieve much more reliable power supply than before, But customers required more reliable power than we had. Then we introduced the distribution automation system. This system has brought us the most reliable power supply in the world. In 1986, we drew up "the concept of integrated distribution automation system". This system is based on the development of computer technologies and information communication technologies. What we are looking for is not only highly reliable power, but to achieve total customer satisfaction.
