Abstract :
This paper presents a Matlab/Simulink based transient stability simulation program for multimachine power systems. The program can be used for teaching power system transient phenomena and also for research work, especially in developing generator controllers using advanced technologies such as fuzzy logic, neural networks, H-infinity, etc. Simulink is utilized for the modeling of the whole power system, including generating units with excitation control systems and also speed governing control systems
