Abstract
This paper describes the channelization method for the forward link of ultra mobile broadband (UMB) forward link. It is optimized for encoding/decoding processing time, diversity (especially for latency sensitive data), peak-to-average ratio, link budget (i.e., minimum rate at cell edge), access terminal memory requirements, scalability across various deployment bandwidths to achieve high throughput and highly reliable wireless communications.
