Abstract :
The load response of two-wire transmission line excited by a uniform plane wave with arbitrary direction is discussed. From the transmission-line theory, a general equation of the load response is deduced with the help of BLT (Baum-Liu-Tesche) equation and Agrawal model of Telegrapher´s equations, and numerical examples are given to validate the method. The superiority over the full-wave method is the calculation speed. The proposed method provides a practical way to calculate the node responses of large transmission line matrix.
