Abstract
Geographic Information System (GIS) provides us integrated methods to analyze the issues in some geographic area, which is a powerful tool in operation analysis. In order to analyze the situation of new energy resources in mainland China, we use the GIS to build a model for wind power and solar power exploitation. Via this case we used the operation analysis methods simulated the policymaking for choosing wind power and solar power. The simulation results are close to the real development situation, which proved the validity of GIS ADM (Aid in Decision Making).
