Abstract :
In this paper, an adaptive filter routine based on adaptive line enhancement is used to effectively extract the absorption coefficient of SO2 in a differential absorption laser spectroscopy system. The ALE technique requires no a priori knowledge of the signal nor of the noise. Results for raw laser data obtained from this system is presented to illustrate the applicability of the technique
