Abstract
In this paper, we compare two numerical methods to compute an electromagnetic source that gives a specified electromagnetic field at a given time. The first method so-called the Time Reversal (TR) method, will be briefly introduced. Then, an original method called Linear Combination of Configuration Fields (LCCF) will be presented. The two methods will be tested on examples and we will show that the LCCF method has some advantages over the TR method.
