Abstract :
The transition to renewable energy source due to reduction of traditional energy sources and greenhouse effect that a carbon dioxide emission is connected with new requirements related not only to energy source itself but also to its effects on the power-system operation. Energy source physical natures and state of technologies used for electrical power production must be taken into account. The effective using of renewable energy sources only in the frame of “green electronic” is possible. This paper studies a new type of step-up-down DC/DC converters for solar photovoltaic modules. Such converters could eliminate following modules disadvantages, as a large size by the producing an end-user application needed voltage and aging. The control features of a new type of such converter are discussed. Switching structures of the presented converter is analyzed. The feed forward control based on the limit cycle is designed and some validated experimental results are given.
