Abstract
Multimedia involves more and more users and applications. To satisfy these new needs, new soft entities must be developed. This paper is intended to present current research works in URACOM concerning an intelligent hypermedia system (IHS). The implantation step bring up some problems dealing with complex multimedia documents (controlling the different elements composing a multimedia document), learning environment (managing learning processes) and Hypermedia environment (managing navigation between nodes). This paper brings solutions (complex object composition model, strategies of control model) to create hypermedia-based learning environments to create hypermedia-based learning environments
