Abstract :
This paper introduces a field testing for seasonal influence on impulse grounding characteristics. A high powered and movable impulse current generator and a real size scale grounding device are applied. The results show that the impulse grounding impedance in winter is larger than that in summer, while the impulse factors in winter and in summer are relatively close.
