Abstract :
Inductive wireless power transfer is examined from the standpoint of electromagnetic compatibility with near-field inductive RFID devices. Some conclusions are drawn concerning the minimum distance that must exist between such devices. In particular we examine RFID transponders for domestic and ruminant animals and consider the possibly that such animals could come into very close proximity to wireless vehicular battery charging systems.
