  • Abstract
A new multiple-input converter family with push-pull connection is proposed in this paper. The principles to synthesize multiple-input push-pull connected converters are discussed and a multiple-input push-pull connected Buck-boost converter is analyzed. In addition, comparisons with cost, modularity, flexibility and converter efficiency are made among multiple-input push-pull connected converter family and six other previous studied multiple-input converter families. Three prototypes are built to verify the converter efficiencies and components stress. The results show that the multiple-input push-pull connected Boost converter gives the best efficiency and lowest input switch stresses.
