  • Abstract
The technology for space telemetry wireless data link is a kind of key enabling technology in high-rate wireless special communication, whose performance directly affects the information transfer efficiency of the whole system. How to improve the space telemetry wireless data link technology, so as to increase the efficiency and reliability for data transmission, as well as to lower bit error rate (BER) has become a hot topic in the field of high-rate wireless special communication. Since the conventional methods have a relatively high computational complexity and a relatively low power and spectrum efficiency, in this paper, we present a new efficient key technology for space telemetry wireless data link: the low-complexity serially concatenated continuous phase modulation (SC-CPM) single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) algorithm, which combines serial concatenated convolutional coding (SCCC) technology with continuous phase modulation (CPM) technology, thus to effectively eliminate inter-symbol interference (ISI) and inter-channel interference (ICI), and to achieve a more excellent performance than Turbo codes. What´s more, the pilot frequency training word sequence is embedded in each data packet for rapid and accurate evaluation of the channel information parameters, and M-ary Laurent decomposition method is introduced for low complexity minimum mean square error (MMSE) frequency domain equalization (FDE). Simulation experiment results demonstrate that our method has a better robustness, bandwidth efficiency and data link performance than the conventional methods. Furthermore, the low-complexity SC-CPM SC-FDE algorithm also has an important guiding significance for researches on high-rate wireless special communication under the condition of dynamic and multipath.
