Abstract
Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET), a sub-section of Ad Hoc Networks, are composed by vehicles with wireless devices which can communicate to other vehicles and roadside infrastructure. One of important application is to improve traffic congestion by disseminate accident message as soon as possible. Therefore, the diffusion of an accident alert, is critical. Predicting traffic message diffusion opens an opportunity to adopt appropriate strategies to manage traffic, vacuum vehicles from disasters, or recovery from accidents. But Modeling data dissemination is challenging due to vehicles´ high mobility, which results rapidly changing network topologies. This paper addresses information diffusion models in vehicular networks. We analytically investigate time-critical information diffusion
