Abstract :
A general approach for effectively predicting dual-mode and dual-link user equipment (DMDL-UE) BER performance is presented in this paper based on the UE local realistic Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna. A DMDL-UE simulation system model is proposed using the MIMO antenna, which shows good S-parameters within the GSM and TD-LTE band. By evaluating the system bit error rate (BER) performance, it is concluded that the sensitivity of TD-LTE link will be greatly affected by the local GSM interference, and that the sensitivity loss of TD-LTE receiver can be effectively reduced by improving isolation of the MIMO antenna.
