Abstract :
Both the images of MBS and SSS can reflect the seabed relief, considering their respective characteristics, the fusion of the two images is studied in this paper. Image preprocessing technique, image registration and matching method, multi-resolution wavelet analysis and transform algorithm, image fusion as well as the evaluation are discussed in the research. Experiment results show that the fusion enriches the information of original images and enhances the seabed expression of sonar image.
