Abstract :
In this paper, the Wavelet Transform is used to decompose every traces of the seismic record into different records. The purpose is to make seismic data filtering, to remove the noise and to improve both seismic signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio and resolution. Real result of the procession shows that the Wavelet Transform is a good method of removing noise and it is a new powerful digital filtering technique which is very practical and valuable
