Abstract :
One of the most critical issues in designing electronics for portable equipment is keeping the power consumption low. This paper describes the implementation of an asynchronous self-timed direct sequence spread spectrum radio receiver. The designed receiver is planned to be used in MINT (Mobile InterNet Router) radio interface for broadband wireless data-communication. The receiver has been implemented in a 0.8 μm CMOS technology using a standard cell library. The final design contains approximately 100000 transistors
