Abstract :
Police-using firearms management aim to effectively monitor and manage the following links about firearms, saving, in or out of storage, transportation, using, carrying, recycling etc. This paper introduces a kind of design and realization of master-slave firearms management system based on RS-485 bus technology. This system uses the network system with half-duplex and multi-computer communication between the master machine and the slave machine. The core controller of the master machine is ARM, and that of the slave machine is 51 series microcontroller. After client (slave machine) polls the port state, transmit the real time data sampled by RS-485 bus to the server (master machine). Through server processing, display the reference information of firearms with LCD. In addition, users can real-time get the current information of firearms by logging on the server through the Ethernet. This system realizes remote data sampling and controlling between server (master machine) and client (slave machine).
