Abstract :
It is shown that the minimum-noise lattice filter can be obtained from the normalized lattice filter by applying the modified scaling method. It is concluded that the minimum noise lattice filter can also be referred to as the l2 scaled normalized lattice filter. A review of the scaling method using state variables is provided
