Abstract :
In this paper, the definition of digital distribution networks embodies the spirits and final goals of digital distribution networks. Therefore, the designing of support platform satisfying the definition of digital distribution networks is an important subject in the process of developing digital distribution networks, and the definition´s contents are analyzed to achieve the function requirements of digital distribution network. The significance of the digital distribution network prototype system support platform developed by our team lies in realizing the technical supports for the definition, implementing digital distribution networks with the service-oriented architecture (SOA) designing, inosculating the IEC transmission and distribution standards into the digital distribution networks, constructing digital distribution network models and interface models based on IEC standards, establishing the data warehouse conforming to the digital distribution network models, which supplies model management and complete XML supporting system for the digital distribution networks. The research and development of the digital distribution network prototype system support platform will provide the core technology support for implementing the digital distribution networks, satisfying the application requirements in the future.
