Abstract :
Firstly, this paper analyses the mode and characteristic of container port´s logistics system. Secondly, this article establishes the discrete choice model based on the above analysis. Thirdly, this paper applies TIMDAP software to study the container terminal´s practice along the Yangzi River, coding and processing the data, performing the analysis, studying the mode of logistics physical distribution, selecting probability and interpreting the results. The result illustrates: applying discrete choice model to select container terminal´s logistics mode is very helpful and reasonable for increasing logistics efficiency.
