Abstract :
This text put forwards a new arithmetic for image fusion based on fuzzy wavelet transform. Its basic ideal is: first carry on wavelet transform of the image, then acquire low-frequency component and high-component. In the process of fusion, adopts a weighted average method to carry on fusion to the low-frequency component; For the high-frequency component, makes use of fuzzy set of image, and looks for a fuzzy membership function as fusion operator to carry fusion. At last, carries on inverse wavelet transform to the fusion image, then reconstructs the fused image. The experiment proved the usefulness of the method.
