Abstract :
In this paper, a gain compensation scheme is proposed to do the EDFA gain equalization using the all-fiber acoustooptical tunable filters. An improved genetic optimization method is applied to search the optimum value for the control parameters of the combined AO interaction stages. It provides a potential spectrum control scheme for the active EDFA gain equalization.
