Abstract
In the event of the growing demands, Long-Term Evolution (LTE) was introduced to satisfy user´s needs. User´s demands are for improvement in the throughput as well as the Quality of Service (QoS) in the wireless network. Hence, through this research, tests on several uplink scheduling methods are carried out, and the data produced from the tests are collected and analyzed. Simulation results showed that LTE-compliant round robin approach outperforms the first maximum expansion which has been proposed earlier in transmitting real-time applications over LTE.
