Abstract :
This paper describes the rationale and an environment of an experiment with control system architecture. This experiment led to the development of a technology, which enhances the control system architectures, and especially fieldbus based parts of these architectures, with the potential of Internet compatible processing. The account outlines the design of embedded web servers. It presents the context in which the embedded web servers are usually implemented as well as it provides a brief insight into embedded servers design process. The description is illustrated by a real life of a site implemented in a field device
