Abstract :
This paper highlights few of the challenges associated with developing, sustaining, managing and re-using embedded systems in a complex automotive environment. This paper will specifically focus on requirement management techniques, advances in modeling languages and use of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the automotive industry today.
