Abstract :
A novel power-factor-correction circuit applicable for motor drives is proposed based on the power flow analysis. The proposed circuit features the improved efficiency, tight regulation of the output voltage, constant frequency control and wide output voltage range. Based on analysis, the design methods are presented in detail. Simulation and experimental results have verified the effectiveness of the novel circuit
