Abstract :
With the rapid increasing number of distributed IT systems in enterprises and the urgent demand for the integration of them, it is becoming much more difficult than ever before to attain the goal of an effective IT systems management. The paper is aiming at providing an effective way of IT systems management in an environment of complex heterogeneous systems with the methodology of SNA. To minimize the negative influences of the collisions among those IT systems and reduce the comprehensives response time, the first need to do is to remodel and analyze the structure of the topology of the IT systems. In an attempt to build a visual and graphic methodology, the SNA is proposed. Firstly, the feasibility of SNA method in IT systems management is discussed. Secondly, based on the result of the analysis the way of SNA modeling is defined. Finally, to asses the effectiveness of this model an example based on this model is discussed and what is more the results of the example are likely to enlighten us further on how to optimize the performance of the IT systems.
