Abstract :
We implemented a 3D graphics modeling and universal access (3GMUA) system with real data acquisition and graphics adaptation architecture for transmitting adapted 3D contents to multiple target devices. Our system consists of 3D modeling tools, 3D content authoring tools, 3D database system and 3D graphics adaptation system. In this paper, we provide an overview of our 3GMUA system and proposed a graphics adaptation framework with a mechanism of 3D scene to scalable vector graphics (SVG) conversion technique for progressive representation of 3D contents on multiple target devices according to the consumer interactions.
