Abstract :
Direct reading ferrograph is the instrument used to determine the wear debris concentration and size distribution data in lubricating oil, characterized by its quick and simple operation and low price. It can be used in machine with oil lubrication as a prevention method against failure judgment(forecast). In order to explore new oil monitoring technology and give the accurate monitoring and fault diagnosis on aero-engine wear condition, we introduced ZTP-X2 direct reading ferrograph and established the monitoring standard on the basis of selecting Is (index of wear severity) as the quantitative analysis criterion and using normal threshold method to process the direct reading ferrograph data of aero-engine lubricating oil samples of a certain type. Practical diagnosis evidenced the accurate and reasonable selection of characteristic parameter Is of direct reading ferrograph monitoring, the good effectiveness of diagnostic standard of lubricating oil direct reading ferrograph analysis established on the basis of normal threshold method, and correct judgment and forecast of wear condition and wear trend of aero-engine lubrication parts.
