Abstract :
The declining of birth rate and the extending of expected life are the direct cause of population aging, what is the fundamental force that influence and determine these two factors? To address this issue, at first, this article selects economic conditions, Medical and health conditions, education level and environmental conditions as major factors that affect the population aging. Then we establish the double logarithmic model of population aging. After parameter estimation, statistical tests, modified tests and the deletion of two variables, we get the econometric model of population aging, finally we know that the factors which influence Chinese population aging are the economic conditions and Medical and health conditions.
