Abstract :
To study the influence of the exhaust plume on the launching equipment and the environment, the plume of the rocket launching process was researched. The dynamic updating method was used to simulate the launching process of the rocket. The finite volume method was used to calculate the ablation and impact of the plume on the launching equipment. The results show that the flame deflector and first layer of the tower suffered serious ablation and impact at the launching process which should be protected specially. The reason is that the plume direct contact and ground aggregation. The “ejecting” phenomenon happened because of the supersonic plumes. The simulation results show the reference for the design of the launching equipment.
