  • Abstract
    Catastrophic equipment failures continue to occur today due to ferroresonance. Ferroresonance is a nonlinear oscillatory phenomenon that occurs in capacitively coupled transformers or reactors under certain conditions. In this paper a harmonic balance method is used to determine periodic solution to the nonlinear ODE with comparative numerical and experimental results.
