  • Abstract
A low-resistance facility ground connection helps provide effective for the protection of personnel, equipment and services against hazardous voltages and currents from lightning, power contacts and earth potentials, when used in a conscientiously applied program of electrical protection measures and regular maintenance. This paper shows several reasons why this is so and discusses the use of conductive cement to lower the resistance of traditional electrodes
