Abstract :
A new type of current transformer (CT) calibration approach is introduced, which is based on the current transformer equivalent model. We can analysis the CT´s performance by calculating its internal parameters. The current transformer error, voltage characteristics, 10% error curve can be measured, solving the problem of up-flow unit and the standard current transformer is no longer needed in the on-site verification. It is more convenient for the users to carry out the field testing of current transformers.
