Abstract :
In order to solve the problems existed in the field of high power applications such as voltage stresses and harmonic interferences of the two-level AC / AC converter, a new kind of high frequency isolated half-bridge three-level AC / AC direct converter is proposed, which can convert one alternating voltage with instability distortion to another regulated constant frequency sinusoidal voltage. The converter has the advantages of simple circuit, high frequency electrical isolation, two-stage power conversions. The operational principle, structure of the voltage spectrum in front of the output filter and the feedback PWM control strategy of instantaneous voltage value of this converter are deeply analysed, also principle diagram of control circuit is given. At last, the correctness and advance of this converter are verified through simulation tests.
