  • Abstract
    We have demonstrated the direct generation, efficient amplification, and sum frequency generation (SFG) of tunable UV short pulses from the all-solid-state Ce activated Ce:LiCaAlF6 laser system pumped by Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers. These approach will open up new possibility of ultrashort pulse lasers in ultraviolet region
