Abstract :
The experience and methodology developed by COPEL for the integrated use of Pls-Cadd (structure spotting) and Tower (structural analysis) softwares are presented. Structural evaluations in transmission line design are possible for any loading condition, allowing considerations of new or updated loading trees, wind speeds or design criteria.
