Abstract :
This paper presents the optimal tracking control of a three-phase power inverter for the regulation of active and reactive power. The control synthesis is based on the state-dependent Riccati equation approach, where it is considered the minimization of a performance index (cost functional), which results in an efficient controller. This inverter is used to interchange energy with the utility grid, where a LCL filter is included in the inverter output to reduce high order harmonics. The optimal controller is designed once the known Park´s transformation is performed to carry out a reference frame change. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy for the control of active and reactive power in the DC-AC power converter.
