Abstract :
Recent advances in realizing system-on-a-chip configurations have attracted a lot attention for low voltage high efficiency CMOS DC/DC converters. In this paper, a circuit is proposed for this purpose, which uses Δ-modulation and has a programmable output voltage in the range of 1.2-2.5 V. The efficiency of the proposed circuit is almost constant in this range. Control of the output power is established by using a binary programmable capacitor array.
