Abstract :
In this paper we consider the problem of controlling the orientation of a satellite with thrusters which provide two control torques. For steering the satellite from one orientation to another, open loop control laws are presented. Finally, a stabilizing control law for the satellite about a goal orientation is presented. The control law changes depending on whether the satellite is symmetric or asymmetric.
