Abstract
We has successfully synthesized a new bifunctional electro-optic chromophore, β,β-diacetyl-4-methoxylstyrene (DAMST) and fabricated the photorefractive polymer film doped with this chromophore. This composite was proved to possess good photorefractive properties at short wavelengths. Research at the 440 nm wavelength is in progress
