Abstract :
A new method which can enhance the contrast between a target and its background robust to noise is explored by using the a acute trous algorithm and modified seeded-region-growing algorithm. The target can be extracted ultimately with this method. This article also shows the precision and the effectiveness of the proposed method in extraction dot and spot target in a single frame by the experimental results from a lot of real IR images on the complicated background of ocean and sky scenes.
