Abstract :
This paper proposes a new method of controlling traffic flow over the road network. A diversion of traffic is carried out by maximizing the over-all network evaluation function. A new method to increase the available information based on “sensor fusion” is also proposed. Several numerical analyses are carried out and some promising results are obtained
