Abstract :
In this paper, the notion of univariate orthogonal wavelet packets is generalized. First, the definition of nonseparable biorthogonal bivariate wavelet packets is given and a procedure for constructing them is presented. Next, the biorthogonality properties of biorthogonal bivariate wavelet packets is investigated.
