  • Abstract
To achieve the steady-state control of the tokamak plasma on its start-up phase, the key point is to obtain plasma position. A fast CCD camera is used for plasma image acquisition in the tokamak. According to the characteristics of plasma image position during plasma discharge, an improved Canny edge detection algorithm is used to acquire plasma image boundary. And then, by using an improved least squares method to fit the edge of plasma, the plasma central position is obtained. So that the real-time monitoring of plasma location information can be achieved.
